About the school

Location

Ballymore National School is a rural school with a very favourable pupil teacher ratio. The school takes in views of Muckish and is situated near the picturesque Ards Forest Park with access to it's wonderful walks. The school is set in the shadow of St. John's Church, Ballymore.

What we're about

Ballymore National School is a Church of Ireland school and welcomes children from all faiths and none. We do not discriminate on any grounds and as a school we aim to develop each child to their full potential. The school staff and Board of Management work closely with parents and the wider community to provide the best learning outcomes and educational experiences for every child.

Mission Statement

The mission of out school is to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere and environment in which the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of pupils and staff are recognised, respected and addressed.
The characteristic spirit of the school is a reflection of the ethos of the Church of Ireland incorporating a balance of faith and culture.

The self-esteem and self-confidence of all pupils, staff and parents alike, are to be nurtured in an atmosphere o mutual respect and appreciation.
