The Board is responsible for the direction and management of the

school as laid down in the directions from the Department of

Education & Science. The Board holds office for a period of four

years. The Board consists of eight members: two of whom are

named by the Patron, two of whom are elected by the parents of the

school (one of whom must be a mother of a child attending the

school), the principal teacher and a teacher from the

school staff. These six members then nominate two people from the

local community.
